how I met Tim
[as told to my friend Erin this morning]
basically, I was talked into being an ad sales rep for the K-state radio station by my friend Jay. then we did a promo for a newsletter that none of the other reps fulfilled, so in one day, I took it upon myself to sell all the ad space in Aggiville. Then that night, I was up until 3 for no good reason (in the dorms), and I heard my friend Paul come up the stairs in the hallway, so i go out and see what’s up. I meet Heather. Heather works at the coffee shop Radina’s that I A) Love a lot and B) Meant to go in there to sell ads to for the newsletter. I tell her, and she tells me that she and her friend TIM are in charge of music performances at the coffee shop. So the next day, she and her friend Tim come by to look at the ad I made – I meet Tim. That same year, Robyn convinces me to start attending worship services again on Thurs. nights, and we start going to Navigators. Turns out Tim played drums for the worship band and spotted me one time and came over to talk. We talked a total of 3ish or 4ish times that year, but apparently had some inkling to ask me if I wanted to live with him and 4 other people (so 6 ppl living there total) the next fall semester. I eventually say yes, and thus Tim and I had a semester’s worth of growth and trust form between us.
