morning coffee
It’s surprisingly refreshing to have a good coworker friend email me in the morning and ask if I’d like to go get coffee. Granted, she took twice the normal dose for muscle relaxants and seemed drunk this morning, but it was fun to walk with her and another coworker to Mildred’s. Even though the beautiful sun was providing 90 degree weather at 9:30 am, it was the laughing and site-seeing that make it such a good walk. Passing between brick buildings, watching renovations being done, all the while talking and making jokes… it can brighten the morning.
And seriously, it doesn’t get much better than having an iced coffee on a summer morning. Especially from Mildred’s, and don’t just take my word for it.
